The speaker was great! Very informative. I've been to other talks on this subject and this talk finally made me realize how important men can be to try to get girls in STEM. That there are opportunities to teach and show men (and women) on how to better gauge a girls interest and how to help girls gain confidence and even teaching strategies that may be beneficial. .

It would be good to hear the panel answer many more questions. The stories of women in technology need to be shared and I'd attend other Lunch & Learn style sessions on this topic.

Good info and presenter, Tonya, was really good! Not sure I can do much to encourage young girls but will certainly keep it in mind.
