Science Thursdays is a weekly event series featuring science activities, food trucks and live music. It is a community enhancement effort that celebrates scientific discovery and promotes cross-departmental networking. Please check our website or Facebook page for the schedule for food trucks, musicians and activities.
These events are open to the public and are held in an accessible space, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the courtyard between the Medical Education Research Facility (MERF), Eckstein Medical Research Building (EMRB), Bowen Science Building (BSB) and the Pappajohn Biomedical Discovery Building (PBDB).
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Sonya Housholder in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-335-8587.
