Write ON program
This is a faculty and graduate student writing program. Participants commit to attending a minimum of three writing sessions a week at the Writing Center, 110 EPB, and agree to spend the time working on papers, proposals, dissertations, books, articles, and other writing projects. In other words, this is time that is set aside for writing, free from distractions and focused on long-term scholarly goals.
The Writing Center provides space, coffee, occasional treats and the comfort of knowing there are other people in the same boat. Participants set daily and weekly goals and can get feedback on their work by using our regular appointment services. Studies show that the most productive and successful writers are those who set aside time to write every day. We're pretty sure a daily writing habit reduces stress and anxiety too.
