To register for courses, sign into UI Employee Self Service, click on "My Training" to be rerouted to Learning and Development. Click on “Enroll in Courses” tab and use search bars to find desired sessions. 

Studying abroad can help students gain maturity, independence, a broad worldview, and many practical skills to apply in a global workplace. We will discuss how students can make this valuable college experience a reality by presenting the what, why, who, where, when and how of study abroad. We will also consider challenges that students face and what resources are available in the Study Abroad Office.

Participants who attend this session will be able to:

  • understand the value of study abroad as part of a student’s complete education
  • understand the barriers to study abroad and the challenges that students face
  • identify the resources of the UI Study Abroad office
