3. Student Academic Service Schedule Change Announcement - Jessica Alberhasky from the Office of the Registrar outlined the new Users Group schedule.

We will move from monthly meetings to 90 minutes quarterly meetings

• Next meetings- We will send out more information as it becomes available.
  • Wednesday, August 7, 2019 2:00pm-3:30pm in 2520D UCC
  • Late October 
  • February
  • Late April/May
• These meetings will focus on enhancements and system updates, as they always have.
• Many have requested that we record these meetings.  We have explored using such programs as UICapture/Panopto or Skype for Business.  Currently, we are unable to accommodate this request due to the technology resources available, FERPA, and ADA regulations.  We will continue to investigate this request as resources become available.

We will begin to look at special topic sessions:  

• Roundtable discussions 
• Specialized training
• Please let us know if there is anything specific you would like us to covered.
• As a reminder, we do offer individual training, if needed.  Please contact reg-maui-support@uiowa.edu if you need assistance with any topic Registrar related.

Final Textbook Deadline for Fall 2019 on July 22, 2019

Offering Planner Deadlines

• Winter 2019 session closed for editing on June 14.  All courses should be submitted to workflow no later than June 13. 
• Spring 2020 session closed for editing on July 9. All courses should be submitted to workflow no later than July 8.
• Deadline for Fall 2019 course changes is August 1. Course changes will be accepted up to this date for Fall 2019 without justification. After August 1, any course change will only be approved with sufficient justification provided on the workflow slip. Please see the Policy on Changes to Schedule of Courses for more information.
