Introduction to R/Tidyverse

ITS-Research Services and Iowa Informatics Initiative (UI3) are hosting an introduction to the tidyverse on May 29, 2019  from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

This hands on workshop will provide an introduction to the tidyverse, a data analysis framework in R that provides users with a simple vocabulary for data analysis.

Topics covered will include:

  • Introduction to data visualization, data management,
  • Exploratory data analysis using the tidyverse.

No prior knowledge of R is needed. 

Please prepare, in advance, by installing R, and RStudio on your laptop so you are ready to code when you arrive to class.

Additional packages used for the workshop are: Tidyverse. The book that will be used for the class is R for Data Science.  This notebook will be used during the workshop. Download Software: R; RStudio.
