This free, two-day workshop provides a historical perspective and operational definition of racism. Participants will explore how race and racism have been constructed in the US and how ideas about race and racism live in our unconscious minds and social structures even 50 years after the successes of the Civil Rights movement. The workshop provides an essential foundation for work to undo racism in our communities and nation. A two-day commitment is required.

The workshop takes place September 21 & 22, 2018 (9-5 both days). A two-day commitment is required.

Pre-registration is required at https://uiowa.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7UU6recTM5lrUep
