Global Public Health Week keynote speaker Amy Maxmen will discuss her work in global health crises and the struggle many aid organization face to track, analyze and respond to information fast enough to provide help.
Ms. Maxmen is a senior reporter at Nature. Her science writing has been featured in Wired, National Geographic, the New York Times, Newsweek and other publications. She is a fellow at the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting, a partner of the University of Iowa. Selected works can be found at www.amymaxmen.com.
