Hawks Don't Hate is an event designed to break down stereotypes and foster acceptance of all identities on our campus! Students will have the opportunity to talk to professional staff members about their experiences at the University of Iowa and spend time reflecting on stereotypes that may be associated with any of their identities. Then students will have the opportunity to write a short statement about themselves and their identities on a Hawks Don't Hate whiteboard and have their photo taken as part of our photo campaign! We will also have fun swag for participants and everyone will have the opportunity to sign a pledge as a commitment to continue upholding the values of Hawks Don't Hate throughout their day to day lives!
