ITS-Research Services and Iowa Informatics Initiative (UI3) are hosting a Machine Learning with Python Workshop on November 28, 2018 - 9:30 Am - 12:30 Pm.
This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of Machine Learning in Python. Topics addressed will include
- An introduction to Machine Learning and Python and
- Demonstration of model development and evaluation
- Core supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
Participants will be able to learn how to leverage widely-used data analytics tools and libraries in Python such as Jupyter Notebook and scikit-learn. A basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts is recommended but not required for this course.. Participants will be expected to bring their own laptops.
