Mornings @ The Museum
Jul 19, 2019
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
University of Iowa Museum of Natural History, Iowa Hall
39-53 East Jefferson Street, Iowa City, IA 52240
Connect (or reconnect) with your sense of wonder at the Museum of Natural History this summer. A free, drop-in welcome, fam-friendly, summer-fun program designed with elementary and jr. high students in mind, but suitable for all-ages! We know summers are long when your kiddos aren't in school–we've got your back, parents! Mornings @ The Museum are a perfect way to keep busy (with the TV off), learn cool stuff, and stay cool! Each event will feature a different theme with an activity.
"Come for the fun, stay for the A/C"

- Tuesday, June 11 10-11am - ICE CREAM: a scientific approach to making (and eating!) ice cream (yum!)

- Friday, July 19 10-11am - APOLLO 11: a celebration of the anniversary of Apollo 11 featuring space kits (cool!)
- Thursday, August 8, 10-11am - FOSSILS: learn about and dig for fossils, the same way Rusty was found (neato!)
