The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics in the College of Pharmacy will host Medicinal and Natural Products Chemistry PhD candidate, Arturo Aguirre, as he defends his thesis titled, "Investigating Quinazoline-2,4-Dione and Fluoroquinolone Scaffolds For Antibiotic Activity and Metabolic Stability".
