The University of Iowa State Hygienic Laboratory is graciously hosting a University of Iowa Corridor Corporate Games Blood Drive!  Every donor that registers to donate will be counted as a point for the University of Iowa in the Blood Donation Challenge.  They will be collecting blood and saving lives in the lower level of the Hygienic Lab on Tuesday, July 30 from 11AM to 3PM.  Successful donors will receive a clear tote, great for taking into Iowa football games at Kinnick!

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Sign up for an appointment at uihc.org/degowin or call the DeGowin Blood Center at 319-356-2058.  With prior authorization from your supervisor, employees are allowed up to one hour for whole blood and two hours for platelet donations without reduction in pay or benefits.  Please help support the transfusion needs of the patients at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and UI Stead Family Children's Hospital. Approximately 24,000 blood products are transfused each year.

Donate the gift of life and help the University of Iowa win this year’s blood donation challenge!
