Shakespeare in Flux
By Brigid Martin
March 27, 28 at 8:00 p.m.
Alan MacVey Theatre, UI Theatre Building
It's 1610, and William Shakespeare is writing a fantastic new play; at least, that's what he's supposed to be doing. Instead, he's training a bard who can't write songs, attempting to track down his company of wayward players, and preventing his long-time rival, Ben Jonson, from destroying theatre as they know it. Coupled with a pair of spies, a runaway King and his illiterate boyfriend, and the ever-present obstacle of self-doubt, Shakespeare in Flux is the Renaissance like never seen before!
This performance contains some strong language.
