Study Abroad Information Session: Pain and Palliative Care

Learn about the application process and logistics for this amazing UI faculty-led study abroad program at one of two upcoming info sessions:

Joined by UI Professor Stephanie Gilbertson-White, students will contrast the principles and practices of palliative care in an insurance-driven environment such as the U.S. with the philanthropic model in India. With a combination of didactic classroom sessions, service projects, home visits, and rounds in the inpatient units, students will develop an understanding of the needs of the seriously ill in a low resource environment.
