QUEERation is an event celebrating LBTQ through artwork. This event is on Thursday, October 10th, from 5-8pm in the Iowa Memorial Union Black Box Theater.

The Pride Alliance Center, the UI Libraries, and the UI Stanley Museum of Art proudly invite you to QUEERation! Join us for an exhibition of LGBTQ+ centered creative works from the UI community.

Poet, playwright, & painter Jen Rouse will give a talk “Dark and Delightful: The Stories We Shape & What We Choose to Tell” as well as an interactive writing/visual art workshop.

All LGBTQ+ students, staff, faculty, and advocates are invited to attend. LGBTQ+ students and advocates who desire to submit their own creative works for exhibition are encouraged to do so. Submission deadline is October 3, 2019.

Light refreshments will be provided.
This is a free event.
