The Nonfiction Writing Program is pleased to present acclaimed writer, journalist, and activist Barbara Ehrenreich whose latest book, Natural Causes, won the 2019 Krause Essay Prize. Ehrenreich, who is also the author of the bestseller Nickel and Dimed, will read at the 2019 Krause Essay Prize ceremony, held Wed, October 30th at the Old Capitol Senate Chamber. The ceremony and reading begin at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm), with a dessert reception to follow. All are welcome to attend.
