Rehab Run/Walk/Wheel 5K
The University of Iowa Physical Therapy Student Organization is excited to announce the 2019 Rehab Run. This 5K fun run is open to runners, walkers, wheelers, and athletes of all abilities. The event will take place on Sunday October 20th, 2019 at 9 am at Terry Trueblood in Iowa City, Iowa (4213 Sand Rd SE, Iowa City, Iowa 52240). This event promotes awareness of disabilities and a greater appreciation for abilities. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to SportAbility of Iowa, which seeks to empower individuals with physical disabilities in eastern Iowa through participation in inclusive sport and recreation activities. The remainder of the proceeds will benefit the University of Iowa Physical Therapy Student Organization to fund student professional development.
On-line registration will be available until Sunday October 13, 2019. The cost is $25 per participant with a T-shirt included. Registration will also be allowed on the day of the event if you arrive by 8:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female, and wheeler finishers.
