The award-winning documentary, "My Beautiful Stutter" follows five kids who stutter, who after experiencing a lifetime of bullying and stigmatization, meet other children who stutter at an interactive, arts-based program. Over the course of a year, viewers witness the transformation when these young people of wildly different backgrounds experience the revolutionary idea that it's okay to stutter. A panel of clinical and research experts will answer audience questions follow the screening. The event is free, and no rsvp is needed. Sponsors are the UI Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
