To register for courses, sign in to UI Employee Self Service, and click the "My Career" tab. Select "Learning and Development", and click on "My Training", and then "Enroll in Courses" on the top left. In "Find a Course" section type "BGC" in the "Course Title" and click "Search Courses".  All of the series' classes begin with the code "BGC" and click "View Details" to enroll in a course.

This session will introduce participants to the culture of the South Asian countries through a series of brief presentations. Participants will learn about the history, traditions, values, and norms of the countries presented in the session. Participants will hear about the day to day life and ask questions of the presenters. 

Participants who attend this session will be able to: 

• articulate a brief overview of the history, culture, and traditions of?South Asian countries 
• contrast the cultural differences between South Asian countries 
• understand some of the experiences of international students from South Asian countries studying at the University of Iowa
