Relay For Life is a community-driven fundraiser that benefits the American Cancer Society. Participants can register online and begin fundraising. All proceeds of Relay For Life go towards groundbreaking research, cancer prevention programs, and patient services provided for free. During the event, participants will CELEBRATE cancer survivors, REMEMBER those who have passed, and FIGHT BACK against cancer! Registered participants will receive a free t-shirt, join in on activities and contests, and enjoy entertainment all for a good cause!
This year, Relay For Life is held at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center (Cambus route accessible) on April 4th, from 2 pm to 7 pm. Students and community of all ages are welcome to participate. You can register as an individual or join a team of friends, classmates, or coworkers! This year's theme is "Blast From the Past", a celebration of the how far cancer research has come from the first Relay For Life, 35 years ago.
