IBL Center Hellwege Speaker Series: Prof. Cat Moon, Vanderbilt Law School
The Delta Model: Lawyer Competencies for the Fourth Industrial Age

In this Fourth Industrial Age where computational law promises to become reality, society is experiencing technological advancement and change at a velocity, intensity of focus, and global systemic nature that challenges even our most innovative minds. As the keepers of the rule of law and its sole practitioners (at least for now), our simultaneous obligation and opportunity as lawyers to lead is perhaps greater than in any other profession. In this context, let us consider the Delta Model, a visual framework for lawyer competencies designed for agility and relevancy in this Fourth Industrial Age and beyond. Vanderbilt Law professor Cat Moon shares the who, why, and how for the Model and invites law students (and practicing lawyers) to use it as a roadmap for designing a future-proof practice. And bonus points: it's also designed to promote individual lawyer thriving!
