Before we elect the next president on on November 3rd, 2020, the International Law Society invites students, faculty, and staff to examine our democracy through a comparative study on models of democracy.
   
Prof. John C. Reitz will present his paper, "The Chinese Model of Democracy as Liberal Democracy's Major Competitor," in which he compares and contrasts the Chinese democracy and Liberal democracy by examining: their responses to the concentration of power; the different historical and intellectual developments each model arose from; and the common concerns shared in both models.
