Virtual Event

Complex conversations about difficult topics like racism and inequity arise in discussions in many disciplines. As instructors, it is essential to model respectful and thoughtful discourse on these and other tough topics, which can be especially challenging in a virtual classroom. Participants will learn tools for debriefing hot moments, calling out hurtful comments, and creating a productive and inclusive learning community face-to-face and virtually.

Co-facilitated by Katherine Beydler, assistant director in the Center for Teaching, and Angela Ibrahim-Olin, assistant dean and director of Student Accountability?
