Global Atlantic Financial Group: Technology at GA, Session 1
Global Atlantic is an insurance company, specializing in life insurance and annuities. We started as a business of Goldman Sachs in 2004 and separated in 2013 starting our own brand. We have had tremendous growth during that time, being recognized as one of the fastest growing life and annuity companies. In July 2020, KKR & Co. signed a strategic transaction to acquire Global Atlantic. The transaction is expected to close in early 2021 and we are very excited about our continued growth. Currently, we operate out of ten offices with about 1100 employees and $90Bn in assets under management.
