At ORA, you make a difference in protecting the health of the American people. ORA has an ongoing need for qualified individuals with backgrounds in health-related sciences, engineering, regulatory policy, and information technology. Therefore, ORA is engaging in a major hiring effort over the course of the next few months and will post additional job announcements for 100+ vacancies nationwide.

ORA inspects regulated products and manufacturers, conducts sample analyses of regulated products and reviews imported products offered for entry into the United States. ORA, which includes virtually all the field offices of FDA as well as a significant presence in headquarters, serves as the traditional eyes and ears of the agency through its network of consumer safety officers and laboratory analysts.
