By Emmy Lane Palmersheim
Directed by Albert Williams

the serpent under't is a retelling of the classic Greek myth of Medusa from her and her siblings' perspective. Utilizing a modern, feminist, queer critique by both diction of dialogue and subverting major plot points of the original myth, the play deals with the ramifications of trauma, family, the capacity for evil, and the impossible and inscrutable nature of being a woman both in Ancient Greece and in the 21st century.

This production contains strong language, blood, abuse, and allusions to suicide.
