Blending poetry and prose, Saeed Jones shares his story of growing up Black and gay in the American South and recounts his fight to carve a place for himself within his family, his country, and his own hopes. Saeed Jones is a Stonewall Book Award/Barbara Gittings Literature Award winner and former contributor to BuzzFeed.

Saeed Jones will energize you during this new series offered by the public libraries in Coralville, Iowa City, and North Liberty, the University of Iowa Libraries, and the Tuesday Agency. Join us on April 1 at 7:00pm for this virtual program!
