Earth Day Litter Clean Up and Audit
When: Anytime between Thursday, April 22 and Sunday, April 25
Where: Clean up anywhere! Please avoid river banks.
How To Participate:
- Find a spot to clean up
- Get supplies (gloves, bags, masks available at Hubbard Park from 10AM-2PM, April 22-25)
- Download the Litterati app and join the challenge
- Photograph and pick up litter
- Dispose of litter! Place litter in your household trash, or bring it to the Hubbard Park drop off point.

Why Volunteer:
- Contribute to a Graduate Student's Research Project
- Earn volunteer hours (click here to volunteer to clean up and/or staff the supply distribution table)
- Clean up litter that might otherwise end up in our rivers and oceans
- Help document the most common types of litter in your area to better inform litter prevention programs
