Hive Universe & The Fragile Bee
The artist behind The Fragile Bee exhibit, Nancy Macko, travels to us to discuss her work - on display in Old Capitol Museum now through the end of 2018 - in a special lecture entitled, "Hive Universe & The Fragile Bee." Join us for discussion and appropriately honey-filled Baklava from Oasis Falafel House.
The Fragile Bee is an exhibit by Macko with us on display through the end of this year. Nancy uses macro photography to create an exhibition featuring photographs, prints, and a mixed-media installation of hexagonal panels, creating a feeling of being inside a hive. The pieces teach the public about the plight of bees and raise awareness about humanity's interdependent relationship with them.
