Migration is Beautiful: Stories from the Iowa Women's Archives
Assistant Curator Janet Weaver's presentation will highlight the stories of Latinx migration to Iowa 100 years ago. The papers, photos, and oral histories gathered through the Mujeres Latinas Project, preserved in IWA, contribute to our understanding of Iowa's rich multicultural heritage.
This event, sponsored by The Center for Worker Justice and the University of Iowa Libraries, is offered in conjunction with a Big Read grant from the National Endowment of the Arts.
