In this session, we will explore how mindfulness practice can help to limit the suffering that often is created around the experience of mental, emotional, and physical pain. We will see how, controlled by automatic ways of thinking about and relating to pain, we do often rub salt into the wound, and how mindfulness practice can help us replace these habits with intentional choices that lessen the suffering.
