Two rare books are featured. One is a 1620s German New Testament and the other is a 1920s edition of The Great Gatsby.

Join the University of Iowa Libraries Special Collections & Archives as they celebrate the Roarin' 20s! See rare and unique materials not just from the 1920s, but also the 1820s, 1720s, 1620s…well, you get it. During this open house-style event, all are invited to explore centuries of book history and innovation through this fun lens.

Location: Special Collections & Archives, 3rd Floor of the Main Library, University of Iowa Libraries. 125 W. Washington St.

Free admission, drop in any time between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. All are welcome.

This UI Libraries event is part of the Iowa City Book Festival, which is presented by the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature.
