This fast-paced conference features leading Operative Dentistry educators from across the United States. Lectures cover a large array of operative topics such as cariology, adhesion, polymerization, bulk filled composites and esthetics. Presenters are alumni of the University of Iowa Operative Graduate Program and/or current faculty at the University of Iowa Department of Operative Dentistry. This lineup of presentations is designed to be informative and stimulating. It is targeted for dentists, dental assistants and dental hygienists, especially those needing to complete their continuing education credits for the Iowa State relicensure period ending August 2022.

This CE is given in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary Celebration for the University of Iowa Operative Advanced Education Program.

Presented by the Department of Operative Dentistry and an unrestricted educational grant from the Fuller-Denehy Operative Dentistry Professorship.

• Distinguish what is the stepwise removal, or two-step caries removal (SW) and the effectiveness of this carious removal procedure on the management of deep carious lesions; and
• Recognize what factors predict a successful SW and the acceptability among dentists on choosing less invasive caries removal methods when treating extensive carious lesions.

our new online registration portal.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

Fees paid will be refunded less a $45 per person processing fee following notice of cancellation. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations received after the course begins. The refund will be credited to your credit card. If insufficient enrollment necessitates canceling a course, all fees will be refunded.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT/RECORD KEEPING

CEU verification will be provided (by e-mail following the program) only for those individuals completing/submitting a CEU card at the completion of the program. Credit will be appropriately adjusted for those individuals who do not attend the entire program. All attendees are encouraged to submit a CEU card which will ensure that a letter documenting attendance will be sent following the program via e-mail.
