Understanding CVs in Academia and Public Health Professions

This workshop is open to students enrolled in the University of Iowa College of Public Health.

This professional development workshop will introduce students to the professional uses of a curriculum vitae (CV) in the U.S. public health job marketing. CVs - most commonly used when applying for jobs in academia and other select professions - require specific structure, writing style, and other professional factors. This 1-hour workshop aims to provide students with the necessary tools to write an effective CV for use in relevant job markets.
