Bots, Algorithms, and (Un)trusted News Sources: Making sense of our digital landscape.
This training will outline some of the ongoing issues and conversations regarding communication in the online world. We will explore online practices, like algorithms and bot farms, that can complicate and distort what we see on our feeds. Participants will share their personal experiences with their online communities. And we will go over tools, resources, and habits to help sift through the noise of our digital landscapes.
