Honoring the rich tradition of activism at the University of Iowa and in the surrounding community, the Chief Diversity Office presents Cup o’ Justice, a year-long series of discussions designed to bring change leaders together in shared learning.

The goal of this series is to promote intergenerational and interdisciplinary dialogue about social justice, civil rights, and civic engagement.  At each hosted discussion, invited Change Leaders will share their stories of activism, lessons learned along the way, and the personal impacts of their work in an informal and intimate setting. Interested activists and change agents are encouraged to grab a cup of coffee, listen to the rich stories, ask questions, and share their own journeys.

For our next Cup o' Justice event  Karl Cassell and Anthony Arrington of Top Rank Staffing will facilitate a discussion on "The Social and Economic Business Impact of Diversity and Inclusion". Cassell and Arrington founded Top Rank Staffing with Reggie Ward and Nick Ford in July 2018. Top Rank Staffing aims to help businesses recruit high-quality, diverse talent for professional, mid-management, senior leadership and executive roles. The primary industries it serves include construction, financial services, logistics and transportation, not-for-profits, sports management, technology services, and manufacturing. The company also assists job seekers with resume-building and matching them to companies that fit their skills and career objectives.

Read more about Top Rank Staffing, and join us on April 10 to learn all about inclusive and equitable recruiting!
