Double Indemnity is a classic noir film from 1944 about an L.A. insurance salesman that gets seduced into a scheme of insurance fraud and murder. This screening is part of FilmScene's Science on Screen® Program. Prior to the movie, there will be a brief discussion/Q&A with Vingie Ng, a graduate student from the Human Toxicology Program, about the portrayal of smoking on the big screen and the risks of smoking versus vaping.
