The Open Screen Film Festival is a showcase of short films by students and community members of the Iowa City area, to take place on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at FilmScene at the Chauncey. Tickets for festival night are FREE! Audience members will participate in voting for the best films of the night.

Interested in having your work featured? Submit your films by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 20! Films must be under 10 minutes to qualify. Found footage, experimental, music videos, documentaries, and excerpts from feature films are welcome. Finalists will have their work played on the big screen at FilmScene at the Chauncey on festival day. Submissions are open to students and non-students.
