This session will examine the types, reliability, and validity of learner evaluation from a personal (biases, context) and organizational (systemic, constraints) perspective.
Objectives:
- Distinguish between feedback and evaluation, and explain why it is an important distinction
- Identify the impact of the evaluation context/system on a particular evaluation
- Describe how to evaluate learners fairly within the constraints of a given assessment system
- Describe how to become a better evaluator
