Join Bijou for our annual XXX screening of Come With Me My Love (1976) from celebrated director Doris Wishman!

In 1926, a man caught his wife in the arms of her lover, an event which forced his spirit to remain a ghostly prisoner in their apartment. 50 years later, a young woman who bears a striking resemblance to his deceased wife, moves into the same flat, only to be terrorized by the ghost who sees fit to murder anyone he believes is competition for his new “love.”

Bijou Film Board is a nonprofit, student-run organization dedicated to the exhibition of independent, foreign, and classic cinema. Our long-running annual XXX screening allows us to create a dialogue around the controversial history of the pornographic film industry, while also exhibiting these films in theatres as they were originally intended. Historically, Bijou has used the XXX screening to partner with local health centers to promote sex positivity and sexual health.

All Bijou programming is FREE for UI students and $7 for the general public, screened at FilmScene (at the Chauncey) at 404 E College St.
