This event will be held post-show, after the 2 p.m. performance of Braided Sorrow.
This event is linked with the production of Braided Sorrow by Marisela Treviño Orta. This panel discussion will focus on the following key topics and themes explored in Braided Sorrow: the continued Femicides occurring in Juarez, Mexico; Mexican/Aztec Mythology, spirituality, and legend; and the negative impact of U.S. maquilas along the U.S./Mexico border.
