Due to the predicted winter weather, the Center for Inclusive Academic Excellence is postponing tomorrow’s (Feb. 16, 2023) high school Black Youth Summit at the Iowa Memorial Union. The Center for Inclusive Academic Excellence and the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will work to reschedule the event for a future date. Please email alma-bernal@uiowa.edu with questions. The first annual Black Youth Summit (BYS) hosts participants from Iowa High Schools (9th through 12th grade), educational advisors, community members, and community organizations. The summit is a multi-racial/multi-national event on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Iowa Memorial Union on the campus of the University of Iowa.
