Join UI Study Abroad program coordinator Lindsay Budde and UI faculty leaders Adam Brummett and Stratis Giannakouros to learn more about the summer 2024 study abroad course, "Sustainable Chemistry Along the Rhine River." Learn about the program, the application process, and ask any questions you have.
The Rhine River Valley is at the heart of industrial and urban sustainability efforts in Europe and provides an ideal opportunity to collaborate with industry and academic leaders in sustainable chemistry.
This faculty-led course will explore urbanization, biodiversity, conservation, climate change adaptation, and mitigation, in a region at the forefront of advancement in these areas.
You can also attend an earlier session happening on Oct. 26, 2023, from 1–2 p.m., in the Chemistry Building (CB), room W323.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact in advance at
