Join us on Saturday, April 27 to explore and document the diverse habitats of Macbride Nature Recreation Area (MNRA). Wander the trails and take photos of plants, animals, and other life forms living at MNRA using the free iNaturalist app. This event is part of a global community science project, called the City Nature Challenge, that includes 700+ cities around the world. UI staff will be onsite to assist with trail wayfinding, app assistance, and some species identification.

  • When:  Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m to noon
  • Where:  Macbride Nature Recreation Area
  • The event is free, but registration is required.
  • Directions, parking information, and other event details will be provided by email after your registration is complete

 

This event is made possible by UI WILD, Office of Sustainability and the Environment, Facilities Management, Green Iowa AmeriCorp, Johnson County Conservation, and City Nature Challenge.
