Do you or a loved one speak Mandarin and have a hearing loss? If so, please join us for a free session to learn with others about hearing loss, tinnitus, and hearing aids, in which Mandarin will be spoken. English will also be provided. You will visit our audiology clinic to learn more about the hearing test process. You are welcome to bring communication partner(s); we will introduce some communication strategies for you to practice together. English speakers are also welcome to participate.

A bilingual graduate student clinician, Xing Wei, will lead the session. She will be supported by Eun Kyung (Julie) Jeon, PhD, Clinical Assistant Professor, and other graduate students studying audiology, who are English speakers.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact in advance at
