Midwest Voice Symposium
The University of Iowa is hosting the first year of Midwest Voice on Nov. 16, 2024. The event will be held in Iowa City, Iowa at the beautiful and dynamic Voxman School of Music (an online option is available). This will be a daylong conference dedicated to the science, health, and art of the performing voice.
Keynote presentations from NATS President Alexis Davis Hazell, Chairman of the Voice Foundation Dr. Robert Sataloff, Dr. Ingo Titze, Lynn Helding, Dr. Peter Pabon, and Dr. Christian Herbst.
Midwest Voice is hosted by the University of Iowa's Dr. Eric Hunter, chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Dr. David Meyer, assistant professor of voice and voice science in the School of Music. They'll be joined by Iowa faculty from Bioengineering, Education, Otolaryngology, and beyond.
