Belonging and Mattering In the Classroom
Join the Center for Teaching for this workshop focused on exploring concrete strategies to build a positive classroom environment through valuing students' experiences. Originally offered at New TA Orientation 2024, this popular workshop will be reprised by co-facilitators Jamie Chen (English) and Greg Wickenkamp (History).
The Center for Teaching advocates for effective, evidence-based, scholarly teaching and acts as a collaborative partner in sparking and shaping conversations about higher education. Our work ranges from advancing excellence in teaching and learning at an organizational level to supporting pedagogical and professional development for all those who teach.
