Speaker Alberto Segre Abstract I became interested in Epidemiology in about 2006 after a fortuitous encounter with Phil Polgreen, then a young Infectious Diseases (ID) fellow at UIHC. Thus began a fruitful multi-year collaboration, which led to the formation of CompEpi, an interdisciplinary research group working on problems at the intersection of computation, technology, medicine and wellness.
