Jones County Conservation Board is hosting an archaeology paddle trip on the Maquoketa River for a summer OWLS (Older, Wiser Livelier Souls) program. OSA's Cherie Haury-Artz will join the paddle trip to discuss the Maquoketa River's archaeological past.  Press release with details forthcoming! OSA educators will be joining the Meskwaki Cultural Center and Museum staff in the History Exhibit tent at the 108th Annual Meskwaki Powwow! Learn about archaeology and OSA's Tribal partnerships. Chat to archaeologists and try some hands-on games and activities! The event runs for four days—OSA will be in attendance on Friday and Saturday.
